My clothespin bag

I made a new clothespin bag yesterday. I made it out of a toile print. I hated using the basktet that was left here on the clothesline. Why do I hang out clothes? For real fresh as the breeze? yes. I need the exercise? yes. To save money because propane is $2.20 a gallon and my dryer uses propane !!!!!! yes!!!

Anyway, I wanted a new toile clothespin bag. So I made one.

the lights in the hall

The lights in the hall were quite interesting. The previous "copper lanturn" lights were transformed with antique white paint, distressed and new glass added. I just had to do something until I am able to get some nice ceiling lights.

Ok. This light was one that belong to my mother. It originally used candles and she had it converted to electric. It hung in her old house and when she moved she let me have it. It now hangs in my country home.

I painted it an antique white and distressed it. Then I added all these pretty things!

Yesterday we signed a contract selling our house! Yay!!!! Hopefully everything will go smoothly. Soon we will be able to purchase this place and call it our own. For years I told hubby that I did NOT want to live here. His dad practically begged him to buy it. NO! No!!NO!!!! Anyway, I obviously caved. I will be posting some reasons why I did not want to live here. Enjoy my before and after pictures ;o)
